Storytime Crayons does not collect anything about you or your child. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no sign-up. This page says exactly what the site does, in plain words.
What the site does not do
- It does not ask for a name, an email address, an age or any other personal detail.
- It does not use ad trackers, analytics cookies or social media buttons.
- It does not load scripts or fonts from other companies. The fonts are part of the site.
- It does not send your child's pictures anywhere. Coloring and drawing happen on your device. If you press "Save my picture", the file goes to your device, not to us.
What stays on your device
The home page remembers which friends your child has met, so the row of friends fills in on a return visit. That note lives only in your browser (it is called local storage). We never receive it. You can clear it any time from your browser settings, and the site works the same without it.
Read-aloud
The "Read it to me" buttons use the speech feature built into your device or browser. Storytime Crayons does not record or receive anything from it.

The book buttons open Amazon. Once you are on Amazon, Amazon's own privacy notice applies.
Server logs
Like any website, the company that hosts this site keeps basic technical logs, such as the address of the page that was asked for and the time. These are used to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to follow or identify anyone.
Children
This site is meant for grown-ups to use with children ages 3 to 6. Because it collects no personal information, it does not collect any from children. If we ever add a sign-up or any other feature that does, we will say so here first and ask a parent.
